Security & governance
A person decides, and every decision is recorded.
In development · onboarding its first partner hospitalsAntevion is designed so that clinicians make every clinical decision, a person confirms every closure, and each hospital's data stays in an installation of its own.
Hosting
One hospital, one installation
Designed to be hosted in the EU, single-tenant, with the hospital as data controller under a GDPR Article 28 agreement.
Each hospital's installation is designed to carry its own language, patient-identifier and regulatory profile, and to be hosted in the region its data-protection rules require.
The hospital is the data controller. Antevion is designed to act as its processor, only on the hospital's instructions.

Closure
Nothing closes until a person confirms it
-
Proposed
A later exam or appointment meets every criterion.
-
A person decides
Confirms or rejects, with a reason.
Rejected
A near-miss is never proposed again.
-
Closed
Recorded with a name; it can be reopened.
- Antevion is designed to propose a later exam or appointment only when every criterion is met: the same patient, after the recommendation, the kind recommended, the region covered, and inside the window.
- A member of staff confirms or rejects each proposal. Every decision is designed to be recorded with a name and a reason, and to be reversible: it can be undone or reopened.
- A near-miss is rejected and never proposed again. Nothing closes automatically, on any path.
- When a patient reports that the follow-up was done at another provider, the declaration becomes a proposal, never a closure: staff verify it first.
Clinical decisions
Clinical judgement stays with clinicians
Clinicians make every clinical decision. Antevion never generates an interval and never suggests a recommendation.
- When a recommendation lacks an interval or an action, it asks the report's author to complete it. It never fills it in.
- Every message to a patient or a family doctor is designed to use fixed wording approved by the hospital.
Principles
What Antevion never does
These limits are deliberate.
- It does not analyse images.
- It does not generate or suggest recommendations, intervals, guideline categories or treatments.
- It does not estimate risk, and does not rank or colour patients by clinical priority.
- It does not close a follow-up. A person always does, with a reason.
- It never claims a list is complete. It states what it covers.
- It does not use one hospital's data for anyone else.
Data protection
Data protection comes before data
- No real patient data before a signed data-processing agreement and a DPIA.
- A data-processing agreement and a DPIA, completed with the hospital's DPO.
- No change to anyone's workflow, and no patient contact.
- Hospitals entering an audit will receive our data-processing agreement, DPIA support and intended-purpose statement.
Audit trail
Every step can be checked
Antevion is designed so that every closure records who made it and why, and every report states its coverage — a verifiable record your quality and risk committee can review.
- Every quote is designed to be an exact, unaltered excerpt, which a radiologist can check against the signed report.
- Antevion is designed to log every state change, every confirmation and every view of a patient's record, and to make that log exportable to the hospital.
- Every figure is designed to come from a deterministic computation: the same input always produces the same audit report.
Regulation
Regulatory status
We do not yet have a written qualification opinion on Antevion under the EU Medical Device Regulation. Until we do, we make no claim about its status. We will obtain one before any pilot with real patient data.
Antevion's intended purpose is published in full on the legal information page. Nothing we say in public goes beyond it.
Read the intended purposeEach planned product will be subject to its own regulatory review before any pilot.

Bring your data protection officer into the conversation
We will go through the hosting design, the data-processing agreement and the DPIA with your IT and data-protection teams before any data is shared.
